Anyone who drives a car should know how to change a car tyre. There are many companies who offer breakdown assistance and can come to your aid if this should happen to you, but what are you going to do if you have a puncture one night and the the battery on your mobile phone has no power, and nobody is stopping to offer you assistance? You could end up stranded for hours.
Hopefully you will never have to change a tyre at the roadside, but knowing how to do so could one day be invaluable.
