This is a great Instructable on how to add an iPod speaker system to a Vespa ET4 scooter. It exploits the secret compartment behind the the two knee pads and removes the danger of riding around with earphones blocking the sounds from other road users and pedestrians.
The speakers were created by taking apart an iHome IH13 portable iPod speaker and the iPod holder is created using a Kensington mp3 car holder with bendable arm.
