How to Redirect a Gmail Address to Another Email Account

There is a nice little feature in Gmail which allows you to forward your emails to any other email address you choose. To set up this feature, just follow the instructions below.

  • Log into your Gmail account
  • Look for the "settings" link in the top right hand corner of the page and click on it
  • On the page that appears you should see several different tabs, look for "Forwaring and POP/IMAP" and click
  • The top option is "Forwarding" – activate the radio button next to "Forward a copy of incoming mail to" and enter the email address you want to forward the email to
  • Select one of the three options which relate to the action you want Gmail to perform once the email has been forwarded: keep, archive or delete
  • Now click "Save Changes"

All future emails sent to your Gmail account will be forwarded to your nominated address.
