Blogger is one of the oldest blogging platforms around and is owned by Google. If you have a Google account (for Gmail, AdWords, AdSense etc) then you can sign in using the same details.
If you do not have a Google account you would have to create one to use the Blogger service. To do this just click on the ‘Create A Blog’ button and complete the form. You will be sent an email to verify the email address you have signed up with. Once that has been done you can login and create your first blog.
Once you have logged into Blogger you will presented with a the ‘Dashboard’. This is the area of your account where you can create a blog and update your personal details. It is the first page you see each time you login.
How to create a blog in Blogger
Go to Blogger – https://www.blogger.com/start
Click on the ‘Create a Blog’ link at the top right of the dashboard
The next step is to name your blog.
You can see from the graphic below that the blog title and blog address can be different. Your blog address cannot be changed and must be unique.
Once you have entered the blog address you would like to use, click on the ‘Check Availability’ link to see if it is available. If it is not, you will get an error message saying the address is not available. You may also receive a couple of suggestions for alternative addresses.
If the blog address you prefer is available, you will get a message saying ‘This blog address is available’.
Try to make the blog address accurately describe what your blog will be about. If you are writing about power boat racing, your blog address should reflect this. Hyphens are allowed in Blogger addresses, so if powerboatracing is not available, try power-boat-racing (at the time of writing both of these addresses are available).

When this form has been completed and you have clicked on the orange continue button, you can choose a template. This is where you choose the layout and design of you blog. There are currently 12 templates (also known as themes) for you to choose from. The template can be changed at any time.
To choose a template, click on the radio button next to the design you prefer and click continue.
You have now created your first blog and you should see this on your screen:
The Blogger service allows you to create multiple blogs. To create another blog, go back into the Dashboard, click on the ‘Create a Blog’ link and repeat the process.
