How to make a backyard hideaway made from old windows! This is a great idea if you would like to create an extra room in your garden and have some old windows lying around or you can buy some from a reclamation yard. It is very simple to make and will cost less than a full timber building.
I can see a few negative points; it would get very hot in summer if the doors are kept closed (don’t leave pets inside), the glass could be a danger to excitable children and there is no privacy.
But on the plus side; if you are a parent and decide to make a building like this for your older children, you will always be able to see what is happening on the inside, you will be able to sit ‘outside’ in all weathers and it is very cheap.
This building gets the thumbs up from us. Great idea.
