How to get cash for your old mobile phone

Many of us have old mobile phones lying around the house. Usually they will be gathering dust in an area of a cupboard allocated for stuff that doesn’t really serve much of a purpose any longer.

One way to get rid of old mobile phones while earning yourself some money is to utilise the services of a website such as Mazuma Mobile.

The idea is simple; you visit the website and enter the make and model of your mobile phone and Mazuma gives you a price it is prepared to pay.

If you decide to go ahead with the deal and trade in your mobile phone, you let Mazuma know and they send you a Freepost envelope. This envelope is then used to send off the mobile phone(s) you want to trade in.

Upon receipt Mazuma will check the phone(s). If the phone(s) are not stolen and the same as the ones for which you have been quoted, Mazuma will send you a cheque within 48 hours.

That’s how it works, but how much can you expect to get for your old mobile phone(s)?

  • Samsung U600 – £22.00
  • Nokia N73 – £55.00
  • Sony Ericsson K850i – £39.00
